Exciting news: a teaser!
I thought I'd alert everyone to a recent development: I was able to acquire the entire set of 2008 catalogs and a few from 2007 thanks to a friend who'd apparently saved them up during college and recently found them again buried among their college stuff. What a fortuitous discovery! Here are some covers of catalogs I've already scanned, as a teaser. I'll be interrupting my regularly schedule program of uploading the 2009-11's chronologically to add these as I know many of you guys are big fans of 2005-8 J. Crew!
Some of you have also been in correspondence with me and have sent in catalogs and images, and I'd like to send out a "Thanks" to everyone who's contributed, either materially or financially. The list of catalogs I'm still in search of is changing, both due to the ones I've recently acquired and my realization that J. Crew puts out short and long catalogs (which some of you have already realized), and that some of the ones I have on the blog are the short versions. I'll create a page on this blog soon with an updated list of catalogs I need.
